BrainFest with Allen Institute
Join us for the second annual BrainFest, a day of brainy fun for all ages at Pacific Science Center. Explore hands-on activities, meet Allen Institute scientists and collaborators, learn about cutting-edge neuroscience research, and even touch a real brain!

Featured activities include:
- Look at real mouse and human brain samples under a microscope
- Listen in on the electricity in your own nervous system
- Play games to explore how the brain develops across childhood
- Investigate the shapes of real brain cells and make your own pipe cleaner model to take home
- Compare different animal brains – including a T. Rex brain cast!
- Learn about Alzheimer’s disease and other conditions with real human brains from the UW Biorepository
- Meet neuroscientists from the Allen Institute and other local institutions
