NAAM Juneteenth Celebration: The Sound of Connection

Did you hear? — NAAM’s biggest celebration of the year is back! Join us at Judkins Park and the Museum on Friday, June 19th, for our 2026 Juneteenth Celebration, a day where movement becomes our rhythm, art becomes our voice, and community becomes the sound that connects us.

Please help us keep this calendar up to date! If this activity is sold out, canceled, or otherwise needs alteration, email mindy@kidsoutandabout.com so we can update it immediately. If you have a question about the activity itself, please contact the organization administrator listed below.

From the return of our famous Skate to Freedom Party to vendors, workshops, local artists, community conversations, an arts and crafts family room, a FIFA World Cup watch party, live performances from Living Voices, and more, there will be something for everyone to enjoy across Judkins Park and the Museum.

All patrons and attendees will receive free admission to the Museum, including access to our current exhibitions, Luther Vandross: Artistry & Elegance and our new exhibition centered around the story of the salute at the 1968 Summer Olympics, The Story of the Salute. Learn more!
