Target Students:
This camp is ideal for curious and creative learners who enjoy building, experimenting, and solving challenges. Whether they’re budding engineers or simply fascinated by how things work, campers with a love for hands-on activities and an interest in STEM concepts will thrive in this camp. No prior experience with robotics or VEX IQ is required, making it accessible to all skill levels.
Learning Outcome:
Throughout this camp, participants will delve into the fascinating realm of robots in real-world applications as well as build, program, and drive robots themselves. They will learn about the various components that make up robots, explore the engineering design process, and engage in hands-on activities and challenges. Our project based learning robotics camp is designed to ignite curiosity, foster problem-solving skills, and inspire creativity in the field of robotics.
Daily Camp Schedule:
9 AM: Camper Drop Off & Sign In
9 AM-12 PM: AM Class
12 PM-1 PM: Lunch & Supervised Recess
1 PM-3 PM: PM Class
3 PM: Camper Pick-up & Sign Out
3 PM-5 PM: Extended Care (Optional)
Lunch Provision:
Students are encouraged to bring their lunch. A microwave is available for heating food. Blaze Robotics Academy will provide lunch for an additional fee of $50.00/week.
